Our mission is to provide our customers with quality heating, cooling, and ventilation services, as quickly, and effectively as possible, while offering the highest efficiency products as cost effective as possible while staying up to date on the newest technology.
Each customer’s comfort is a top priority in the day-to-day business of Mechanical Heating. We focus on treating every home as our own while going above and beyond to serve our customers when they need us most.
Mechanical Heating and Cooling is a family owned and operated company that has been in business since 1983. Current owner, Joel Wensley, has been the sole owner of Mechanical Heating and Cooling since 2001.
Who We Are
Located in Dearborn Heights, Mechanical Heating and Cooling is a licensed Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) contractor. We specialize in the installation and service of Carrier heating and cooling systems. In addition, we also provide duct cleaning and maintenance services. We provide our services to the Metro Detroit area for both residential and commercial sites. Mechanical Heating and Cooling is a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer, but our experienced technicians can service all types of equipment.
Our technicians are provided with endless training, consisting of both in-house and field instruction. We believe in keeping our technicians up to date with new and improved techniques, as well as the newest technology, so they can better serve our customers.
In result of our staff’s recent efforts to provide our customers with the highest quality systems and services we have received Carrier’s Presidential Award for the past 7 years. This award is presented to Carrier dealers who exemplify leadership and management, customer satisfaction, expertise, business growth and operational excellence. It holds our company to higher standards and encourages us to continually improve our practices, knowledge, and techniques. We strive to continue to be on the receiving end of this award for many years to come.
Mechanical Heating and Cooling is a Factory Authorized Dealer
To be qualified as a Factory Authorized Dealer we must consistently meet the following standards:
· Participate in extensive factory training on technical aspects of equipment installation, maintenance and repair
· Identify and recommend solutions that provide excellent comfort and value specific to your needs
· Incorporate Carrier products that are energy-efficient, reliable, quiet and environmentally sound
· Employ NATE-certified technicians who have passed a stringent set of exams
· Maintain all required local licenses with insurance and liability coverage
· Correct any problems you have with your system or remove the equipment and refund your purchase price within one year of installation, if for any reason you are dissatisfied with your Carrier equipment
· Solicit and respond to customer feedback, maintaining exemplary scores in a Carrier-approved customer satisfaction program

In order to meet Carrier’s standards for excellence in service and customer care, potential nominees need to have a strong focus on leadership, management, brand recognition, and industry expertise.
Award nominees must also emphasize customer intimacy and operational excellence in all of the areas that are crucial to exceeding Carrier customer expectations for quality, comfort, and performance.
Carrier President’s Awards are presented annually to an elite group of Carrier dealers who exemplify the company’s model for operational excellence, business effectiveness and delivering the best in cutting-edge technology to consumers.
